blind
last night i was so cold i had to cover my head up with my blanket. it was so dark, i couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. then i thought that that's what it must be like to be blind. total darkness strains your eyes because you're searching for something to look at that you can't see. and it makes your head hurt. then i thought that it would be sad to be blind. and that scared me. so i uncovered my head and froze myself to sleep.
