Is Supernatural even interesting anymore? I mean after that many seasons, what is there to do? I have never watched the show so I don't really have an opinion on it, just in general I find by season 5 you're re-hashing story lines over and over and it's not very interesting.

The CW is typically more of a teen show kind of network so it's surprising that Arrow is on it. It's very dark and they're unafraid to kill off characters (which is rare on tV). I think The Flash is much more a CW type of show - it's much happier and always has that sense of finish and happy ending at the end of each episode. I'm enjoying it though, different though it is from Arrow.

Some would say it isn't but I love the show. It might be the eye candy but I feel invested in their "lives". They've always managed to come up with story telling and started big arch stories in the 4th season. In all honesty, somethings they beat to death but I can't help being attached to Dean (Jensen Ackles).

I have always thought that too. I was surprised by Arrow. I thought it might be like Smallville and just make me want to hurt the writers but I adore Arrow. Not even funny how much. I like that it is dark and unpredictable. Always the best kind of shows. I do fear that should Felicity and Oliver get together the show would suffer but I desperately want it to happen.

The Flash is much lighter. I like it but I'm not as attached. I feel like it has the potential to get darker but we'll see.

I both like and don't like what the writers have done with Oliver and Felicity's relationship. I fear you're right - seeing them just be together and happy would kill something in the show, but I don't really like the "I love you" and then walk away, and then her response now of not wanting to be loved by him. It's painful and angsty and I'm not a fan of that so much. But I don't want to see the show go the way of Castle with no romantic tension anymore. I watched part of it last night and I just can't get into it anymore.

I don't mind The Flash but if I never saw it again I wouldn't miss it, so that's saying something.

Me either. I hate the idea that you can't be with someone for their safety. That is just dumb because she's in his life and is clearly important to him so when she gets hurt or should she die then they just wasted time.

I wonder if it would go like that. I think Felicity and Oliver getting together could be great with many ups and downs. I mean he's a Hero... life will not be easy.

That is true. Pretty much how I feel about it.

It is hard to know how the show would go if Oliver and Felicity did get together. I used to think Castle would work out well but while it did for a short while, eventually it got kind of dull as far as the romance goes. That kills a show right there. The writers have to be very careful to make it work and still make it interesting. For a lot of people the love interest is really the only "tension" in the show and once that's gone you feel like they've finished and there's nowhere else to go.

Watched The Flash last night. Really the only part I care about is who is the guy in the wheelchair REALLY and what's his game? He's pretending to be a good guy but you think he might be a bad guy - he's got lots of secrets and I want to know what they are. Otherwise I could care less about any of them, especially all of the "shippy" stuff between Barry and Iris and the new girlfriend.

I have my theories on the wheelchair bound doctor but I won't say.

I don't care about any of the shippy stuff on The Flash but I still enjoy the show.
