So we definitely need a more positive topic that yesterdays small Christmas rant about how Grinchy and Greedy Starbucks is, damn them for making me addicted to their lovely drinks.
Anyways, let's go back to movies. I know a lot of you like A Christmas Story but I'm going to go over a really awesome modern movies.
So here are a few more movies I have to watch this time of year:
The Holiday with Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black and Kate Winslet. I would have thought this would be the most generic of romantic comedies but I enjoy it immensely because it is sweet and actually has a story to it.

Another more modern movie is Love Actually which admittedly I didn't love the first time I saw it but it has really grown on me as I love Huge Grant's story and I adore Colin Firth's story as well. The thing I love most is how all the stories are interwoven and connect to some degree. This is the first movie of it's kind, and really the only good one. Some great sences:

Since we are talking about Colin Firth let's get to Brigitte Jones' Diary. You either love it or hate it but being as I'm awkward too and likely to say the stupidest thing, I like this movie because the awkward girl gets the guy in the end.

And last but not least is While You Were Sleeping which I've always adored. This is the movie I decided that Sandra Bullock was a great actress, not that all her movies will protray that.
