IMAGE DISAPPEARED BECAUSE OF PHOTOBUCKETSo these are the caramel apples we made for my cousins family. Ours didn't come out looking this good. But they were all delicious.
We used the Kraft Caramels and melted them just like the back of the package instructed. We realized, after making a previous batch, that wax paper on the tray will still stick to the apples but spraying a little Pam prevents this. Plus, turning the caramel off and giving it a minute to cool a bit prevents all the caramel (and candies) from sliding to the bottom of the apple. And that crust at the bottom where all the nuts settle is so good.
And I'm pretty sure you can get these caramels all year round. Maybe we'll have to do this again in a few months... maybe to celebrate when Outlander comes back to TV.
