1. Most everyone will recommend a book or two to read, but are there any you would tell people to avoid?
Eat, Pray, Love. Everyone was on such a high about this book but when I read it; I instantly disliked the main character who seem so self-absorbed that I just couldn't. I did make it through the book eventually which just confirmed how much I hated it. And because sometimes the movies are better, I saw the movie. Not worth it. Oh and Gone Girl. Oh my gosh you just hate humanity after reading that. But also anything that is rated 1-2.5 probably in my book section.

2. If you take a book on vacation, are you more likely to take something you haven't read yet or an old favorite?
Usually it depends on my mood. I just went on vacation and loaded up my phone with newer books (I read none of them). But occasionally, I feel I don't want to read something new that I might now love so I take an old reliable book or series depending on how fast I can get through the books. I once started re-reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series when I went on vacation and got through several in the week I was gone. It just depends.

3. Do you read any genres by the season? Like horror around Halloween? Cozy Mysteries in the Winter? Romance in the Summer?
I don't tend to do horror but I do like a good ghost story. I do love Christmas books and have read many after Halloween. Summer stories tend to turn me off so I just read whatever the rest of theyear.

4. If you read a lot of Fiction do you prefer an author that has a series with the same character(s), or do you prefer stand-alone stories?
Depends. I do prefer fiction though occasionally a non-fiction pops up. I do love a good series. Most of my favorites are a series but there is the odd lone book.

5. Is there a book that you wish you could read again, but experience it like it was the first time?
Well, Outlander. Probably my favorite series but the first time I read it was intense. And it just isn't the same when re-read even though it is still good. But also The Thirteenth Tale. That was a really good book though I recommend it in audiobook. It was so interesting to listen too and really had me hooked.
