rebirth in process?

So in my mind this kind of change for my lj is like a weird sort of rebirth.
Anyway, still in the process of cleaning up a few things, but for the most part this is officially the first post of the New sireensilver. Am still in the process of finding More Shiny Things like banners and possibly more icons to help mark the change, but I've done layout and profile and such, so we can live for now. I've still left up my (somewhat embarrassing) fics because I don't want them to disappear and to be out of reach forever, but I'm not touching them anymore. (Weird how a lot changes in less than a year. O.O)
I'm in my exhausted, hyper mood now because work has been killing me and I have this funny habit of needing to do ten million things at the same time the days after my birthday. I call it my post-birthday multi-task fixation. I should be back to normal next week or the next, when April ends and work hopefully cuts me some slack.
Which is partially why I wanted to revive this journal, actually. I didn't like spamming my writing community with spur-of-the-moment squees about bits of J-news, but that is what I have time for these days. It felt like the sort of thing that should go here instead. So here we are.
You can bet I'll be happily posting away, soon. Oh, soon.
