You want comedy, Konkatsu is the shiz. Almost literally--it's only episode 2 and Nakai's character is knee-deep in the smelly stuff. And I mean, the smelly stuff that hit the fan.
I still fail to see what Ueda's part is there for. So far I can place everyone else into a role except him. But I guess whether his role is important or not, he gets to have an explosive drama debut--the all-star cast is quite staggering.
And I know I've said I'm unsure about whether I like Ueto Aya or not, but I think she's well-suited to the role.

Ahhhh, sometimes there is nothing like a nice epic movie to keep you happy. And when you have access to all the parts of that epic-ness, you are every happy indeed. I've already seen Red Cliff before, but I got into the mood of watching it again after seeing
this. It's not even my type of music, exactly, but I can appreciate her style--there's a lot of personal weight behind it. Plus the video is gorgeous. Totally makes me want to write fantasy-monarchy fic now, just so I can imagine the costumes.
And, gah, Kaneshiro is still a beautiful man. ♥
