I went around the neighborhood today selling stuff for drama club. Had nothing better to do, seeing as I'm grounded...
And I was amazed at how rude people can be. I mean, I'm just knocking on doors, nicely introducing myself and asking if they would like to buy a candle, and I got yelled at by three people. One lady didn't even open the door, she just glanced out of the window at me and yelled out "go away, I don't have time for you."

And it's not like they can't afford $20 for a candle. The people in my neighborhood are fucking rich. I went to this one lady's house... and she wasn't mean or anything, but she was looking through the catalogue for 10 minutes and didn't buy anything. They had 4 cars in the driveway, 3 bikes and and a barbie jeep in the yard, and a grand piano in the living room, and she didn't buy anything because it was "just too expensive." Bullshit.
It almost makes me angry.
