Conversations with my crazy liberal sister pt. V
So this is the ongoing saga of my crazy liberal sister: This happened on father's day. The backstory is that she decided to buy a BBQ grill for him (of course, without asking any of the siblings who have an income) and expected us to just pay her back (retard).
Me: So.. um.. how much did you spend?
Her: Oh this was on sale, so it was only $100.
Me: Oh okay, good. I thought you were going to spend like a bazillion dollars or something.
Her: What? Why would I do that?
Me: Well, you're just kind of ditzy and don't really ever think about things.
Her: Whatever! WHAT are you talking about?!
Me: Oh come on. You're the ditz! Everyone knows that.
Her: Whatever, Chris. I think so much more than you. I am a progressive person, alright. I think all the time.
Me: Are you serious?
Her: Yeah, I think more than you do and I am smarter too! I am more aware of everything because I am socially concious and aware of the world, unlike you and your conservativeness.
Me: Whatever. Here's $25. (Despite the fact that I paid $40 of her Macy's credit bill because she is ass-poor broke)
Now here's the funny part. 6 hours later, this socially concious and progressive person in all of her awareness glory, was driving home to Sacramento and then she stopped to use the bathroom and when she was done she got back on the highway... USING THE OFF-RAMP. She realized she was going against 70 mph traffic head on, so she tried to turn around and drove her car into a ditch.
Man, I'm so glad people like this are working for our government. No wonder why California is in such the peaceful and calm non collapsing economy that it is in.
