Damn you, Erin.

Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.

Cat Power: I saw her in concert exactly once, with indie rock boyfriend. Two hours passed and it felt like twenty minutes. I was in utter awe, and he told a fabulous story about the best ten bucks he ever spent on another one of her concerts.

Dustin Diamond: I always pulled for him. Always.

hope for agoldensummer: They came through my town last year like the flu, and they're still in my CD player now. My roommate and I do a pretty good job at some of their harmonies. I sing the high parts.

Madonna as postmodern: At this point, the idea is so trite, but I just like that this one woman embodie(d/s) so much to so many thinking people.

nyac: There are two of these, really, and I worked briefly with both. The National Youth Advocacy Coalition is a queer youth powerhouse, and they have some of the best conferences I've been to. The Action Council was some sort of turn-of-the-century anti-youth violence thing started by Clinton. I think, in response to pressure by scared white people that now THEIR boys were killing people too, he threw a bunch of names and money at some meetings and other things which never really amounted to much. J.Lo and the Backstreet Boys were to be involved at one point, and I drew up a map of the US. Fun times.

Scrabble: My mother plays five minute games online, and I learned at her feet. I'm not great, but I am good, and I get very competitive and male when I play.

Thornton Wilder: Always a favorite. i went through about a year when everyone got his Three Plays for presents, and The Bridge of San Luis Rey is an annual reread for me. It's one of the ten or so that I can never quite let go of.

Now it's y'all's turn.
