Gareth is sitting just outside the Orkneys' cottage, trying to get the most out of the last of the day's-- and likely season's-- sunlight. He can speak English again, fortunately. Not being able to speak to anyone but his brothers was getting tiresome.

"Look at you. Disgraceful." She grins. "I'm sure Percy could find tons of work that needs doing."

He looks up with a start. "Does he need something done?" he asks, all earnestness, though still not quite as cheerfully as usual.

"It's a farm. Something always needs to be done. Extra because the stubborn man won't admit he's hurting half the time."

"He's hurt?"

[dragon_dealer]

"He'd say no. It's an old wound, but his leg is sore."

[sirbeaumains]

He nods. "I could come and help, if you want, my lady."

[dragon_dealer]

"I was mainly teasing, though you know you're always welcome."

[sirbeaumains]

He blushes a little. "I-- I knew that."

[dragon_dealer]

"What are you up to, besides looking pretty?"

[sirbeaumains]

It's Gareth. Of course a comment like that will make him blush. "Um... nothing, really."

[dragon_dealer]

"Nothing, really. Told you it was disgraceful." She grins.

[sirbeaumains]

"You've got no right to criticize me, then!" he protests with a little smile.

[dragon_dealer]

"I was imitating you, oaf." She sits down beside him.

[sirbeaumains]

"Oh, right. Don't you think I've got enough people to do that?"

[dragon_dealer]

"Mock you, maybe. Seldom imitate."

[sirbeaumains]

"More when we were little," he agrees.
