Eventually even Clar has to go out for a bit, and it's then that Mordred turns up in the doorway, his eyes both darker and brighter than usual.

And he'll recieve the same soft, sheepish, "Hi" that Gaheris did.

"I got hurt. Then I think I fainted."

"That much I'd gathered," with that particular killing sarcasm that Mordred is so good at.

"I didn't mean to..."

"I didn't ask if you meant to. I asked what happened."

[sirbeaumains]

"And I said it, didn't I?"

Mordred gives him a long, expressionless, very elder brotherly stare.

Meep. "He stabbed me." Again, obvious, but he hopes it'll be close enough.
