I got a thought- tis' a rather sick and twisted thought.
What if this new Pandemic is the coming foretold by all Zombie movies?
What if this simple strain of influenza the beginning of the end?
One person has died in the US so far, 91 infected, untold thousands in Mexico, how do we know that these people who are infected aren't becoming the walking dead? Get your gun, axe, and a reliable animal for message transport because boy, you are going to need it.
Remember infection is spread through the saliva; those bitten should be taken care of instantly. Aim for the head, severing said head may not kill the Zombie, be sure to destroy the brain, rolling balls of infection are not productive to the eradication of said abominations.
Stay away from those whose heads seem disjointed and are stiff limbed, fear the sound of shuffling feet, use your gun wisely for its sound will attract more and soon you will be overrun. Rely on bludgeons and sharper object such as a machete to be your main weapons.
Seek shelter where the lifeless shells would not find you, some place that normal humans will not go. Malls, shopping centers, grocery stores, and many other stores are out of the question. These soulless bodies are reliving their mindless lives.
Stay out of cities, one infection can quickly destroy dense populations. Wide open fields where your enemy can be seen from a long distance are best for survival.
Stock up on canned food, ammunition, and medical supplies there is no telling how long an infection will last.
Now you may be asking yourself a few questions:
1. Will they die on their own?
2. Will they starve?
3. Will their flesh rot?
4. Can you burn them to death?
5. OH please God, this can’t be real.
And what I have to tell you is:
1. Not likely.
2. With the stupid people alive who enjoy gawking at the unusual- No way.
3. This all depends on the circumstances surrounding the infection and its causes.
4. I do not want a brainless walking candle, do you?
5. And finally. No, there is no god when Zombies roam the Earth, and yes, it is real.
Only the strong will survive.
Only the quick of wits will out run.
Only those with the drive to say, “Fuck you, this is my world,” will be able to win.
“When there’s no more room in hell then the dead will walk the earth and the livin’ won’t have a prayer ‘cause it’s the dawn of the dead.”
