(no subject)
Im now back home after an excellent day yesterday.
It was the trip to London, which started at 7.45 in the morning when we picked up sam and then went to andy's where we dropped off our stuff and all went to Manningtree station. Got the tickets and caught something like the 8.40 train to London, arriving at Liverpool street we then had breakfast; Crispy bacon sandwich for me, enormous jacket potato for sam and some large pastry for andy.
Then came the underground to Covent garden, and the lifts at the station. Tea shopping for sam followed by a walk to Leicester Square, and the underground to Oxford Street. We walked from one end to the other, whilst shopping, stopping of for a drink and buying stuff for lunch.
Went to St James' Park to eat our lunch and ended up having to eat my yogurt with a credit card thingy sam was handed by someone on oxford street lol.
We then went to the Imax to see some dodgy 3D film. Then it was back to Oxford Street for some last min shopping before searching for a Garfunkels to have dinner, we eneded up at the one at Leicester Square where we sat eating a hearty meal and thinking what a success the day had been :)
Afterwards it was back on the good old tube to Liverpool Street, and a race to the train, which we sneakely stayed on until Ipswich.
AFTER that my dad picked us up form the station and took us back to andy's, where we stayed the night in funky airbeds. I was then picked up in the morning, with sam's mum and here i am updating this.
All in all a great day, cheers sam and andy for coming, and staying at andy's. :)
