Avatar gets put in the Hurt Locker!
Ok, I'm not what you would normally call an "Oscars guy", so to speak. But Avatar won 3 awards this year, and a little indie film called The Hurt Locker got six!
Out of the three awards Avatar did win, only one was from a category where Hurt Locker was also nominated.
A 20-million dollar film vs a 700-million dollar film.
And it was directed by James Cameron's ex-wife, to boot!
