Today, was pretty good, I went to work in the morning. I had to get up at 6:30 which really sucked, but oh well. I'm getting paid. And very well this week, come to think of it. After that I went to the school and waited for Jess to get out of her reheasal. I was really tired, I almost fell asleep on the coach in the band hall, which was really comfortable, especially since somebody's sweater was over the arm where I had my head. Eventually she got off and we went back to my house where Jessica made a wonderful dinner for Jori, Danny (Jori's friend), Herself, and I. You see, my parents are away on a four day holiday and we aren't the best of cooks. Well, we actually cook really well if we have a recipe to follow, but the main problem is that we're not motivated to take the time and energy to make a proper meal. So we had chicken and rice and corn with this really good cheeze sauce stuff, it was DELICIOUS (Thanks hon!)!! After that, Jess and I took the dog for a walk in the VERY dark. It was soo dark outside it was weird, like, you could hardly see ANYTHING. No street lamps out here in Metchosin, you see. We had a good time, but Jess was kind of scared. Then we went home and lazed around and ate some ice-cream, and played Nintendo, which was fun. THen I took Jess home and that's about it. Not all that fascinating or dramatic or action-packed. OH well. That's what movies are for, to observe the lives which we would love to live but can't, and mostly wouldn't REALLY want to. That's all for now...
OH YEAH!! I just remembered something that is REALLY cool! About five days ago they FINALLY revealed a definate release date for Half-Life 2. That date being today! And the Asus Radeon 9600 video card we bought for our computer included an offer for a free copy of the game. SO, we went online and entered this special code that we have and stuff, and the full version of Half-Life 2 is currently downloading onto my system, with...AH, zero seconds remaining! IT'S READY! But I can't play until Jori's here, so I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow afternoon, *grumble*
