...Dutch game show Een Tegen 100 (One Against 100) is coming to the US and UK :)
Any show that I willingly watch every week in a language I don't understand has got to be good.
Oh, and the US version is going to offer $3,000,000 apparently. To which I say 'woah'. Followed by 'how does that work?' The Dutch version offers a theoretical maximum of just over €300,000...
...the UK version's coming to the BBC. Suffice to say it won't be competing with Deal or No Deal (the Dutch version of which alternates with Een Tegen 100 in the Sunday night slot on Dutch channel Talpa), much less whatever ITV's response in the prize war will be. (Assuming that response goes beyond million-pound Event Television Antan Dec vehicle The Con.Test, that is.)
