So as it is now Spring and the weather is now reasonable in the mornings, I thought it was about time to start shedding my Winter weight from my Hibernation.
So up early and shower and shave and have breakfast and out on the road by 7:30 for the 6.5kms ride to the office. If I do enough of this riding, Mountain Biking should not be too hard and I might shed some kgs.. :)
As I am riding I have my iphone in my thigh pocket and I am listening to tunes on the way to work... Hmm Might have to get some podcasts instead and get an education while I am at it.. :)
The only problem is that with the 3.0 update to iphone a feature was added called "Shake to Shuffle" whereby if you give the phone a decent shake the accerometer in the phone notices and shuffles the song... With the phone in my thigh pocket, this was happening about every 90 seconds.. Very Annoying. So I had to stop, get the phone out and find the setting to turn it off... Thank goodness.
The ride went fairly well. 6.5kms in about 25mins. I should with fitness increases get that down to about 18 mins...
I have to ride home as well, feeling a little tired but in a good way, rather than a totally exhausted way..
