Comments: This was sort of different from Jane Austen's other works. To quote a description of it I read earlier, it's "much darker" than her previous books...which was actually kind of nice. It kept twisting and turning and nothing was absolutely resolved until the last page. I really liked it, quite the pleasure to read. Although there were several moments when I felt like quoting Kristin in her 'Austen is killing me through 'heart-pain'' or something or other speech. Yeesh.
