Hiyaaaaa guys. I'm not dead, just lazy to update. Here's a fanmix as apology for my silence. ^_^ AND promises of a Hellsing fic trilogy after the holidays. Are you reading Drifters, Hirano's new series?

LOL. IT'S okay, I bought the translated tanko (Spanish, Ivrea) only recently sooo.

WE CAN GEEK HERE. Did you likeeee the last volume? ♥ I think Hirano could have dedicated it to me from beginning (the cover) to end. ^____^ Because it was just. Such. a Present.

I did! I dropped it after the third chapter but the LAST chapter drew me back in due to... Joan D'Arc possible appearance *_* Don't disappoint me, Hirano.

I was pleased with the end, although it was cracktastic. I don't entirely understand how Hirano puts stuff together sometimes, but I read through your interpretations in various places, and it sort of fell into place.

Obviously this makes my never-finished piece "A Savage Place" quite AU, but I suspect it could be easily be rewritten to take place twenty-odd years in the future, after Alucard's return. The question remains if I care enough to. *shrugs*

I had really hoped that Yoichi would be female *sigh* Right now (sans having read aforementioned chapter), it's kind of a sausage fest.

It was crackstatic. Even so EVERYBODY good is Happy, so I was who cares... Besides I died laughing when Seras cosplayed Alucard, oh she's such an AxI shipper. She wants her parents Masters to be happy together! ;; It was better than the depressing Anime EVERYTHING IS LOST ending.

90% of my fics are AU, I don't necessarily mind. You could continue it as an AU? It's not like it matters as long is well-written? :3

...That's the problem, right? The series ended in such a perfect note that it's difficult to care. I have projects in my head, but really, not MANY. A crossover with Twelve Kingdoms (because heeeeh, Youko meeting Integra will be Badass), those three fics I mention, one that explores Alucard's condition after Integra dies (I mean he's everywhere and nowhere, not undead, he can just walk into afterlife, if he wants), maybe the AxI comm project (Penelope that is AxI without Alucard, covers Integra's wait ( ... )

I just went and read Drifters 8 and my first thought on seeing Easy was "OMG GIRLYCARD," too! As I've said elsewhere, Hirano really only has like four character models. And he digs eyepatches.

I can't really figure out what the heck's going on in chapter 8. I'm thinking that what's implied is a battle, on a cosmic level, between Easy and Murasaki - and Murasaki, at least, is recruiting human warriors, the "drifters," for his army. But it's not clear who the "offscourings" are. And where does the elven race shown in earlier chapters fit in? And the guys named after Noah's sons? (Ham, Shem... we haven't seen a Japheth yet, but he's probably out there).

Also, I'd like to point out that Easy's eyes move. Over her face. She is Girlycard!

I have no idea... either, IT'LL REVEAL ITSELF SOON. I hope. I know the elves, dwarves and hobbits lost a war and are being OPPRESSED by that Order I forgot its name? They took away all their women, so they wouldn't reproduce.

Told you. It's Girlycard. With a SLIGHTLY different hairstyle (it's more triangular cut).

I want to see Joan!
