Oh dear... so I just got a call from Billy, asking me if I wanted to take up tutoring. It'd be for Grade 10 and Grade 11 math mainly. $20 an hour he said... but like... oh dear. It'd be rather nice, and PROBABLY not that hard (I'd have to do some reviewing on the stuff before I went, but nothing too drastically hard, I would hope ( Read more... )

I'd go for the tutoring. Grade 10 math would be a piece of cake, all basic trig and linear graphs. Might need to do some reviewing on 11...3D graphs and stuff, but nothing too hard. It'd give you some extra spending money...

Tutoring really isn't that bad. I tutored a kid down the street in math 10 last year. Patience is key, as is being able to relate the work to other outside things for easier remembering. It's actually kind of gratifying (that does not look spelled right...) to see all the hard work you put into it pay off for them. And as long as you don't treat it as a job, but a way to help someone do their best and suceed, it's quite rewarding on both ends. *end of personal experience ramble* Good luck if you go ahead with the tutoring :D

I think it would be a really good opportunity. Plus, it gives you the opportunity to be all smart:) Remember how you struggled in gr.11 before the exam... and now you'd be all 'know it all'. Goes to show how well you'll know the stuff you're doing now in a few years:)
