I fucking hate (car) insurance companies.
Well, this sucks.
Apparently, because we have three cars, I have to be a primary driver on one of them. I knew that was coming.
HOWEVER, what I DIDN'T know was coming, was how much it was going to cost. I WAS paying $800 bucks a year for car insurance. Mom told me that I'd be paying like $1200 a year if/when we got a third car.
WELL. Turns out that's not the case at all, because my insurance is going UP by $1200 $2100. To $2000$2900 a year.
$800 to $2000$2900. What the hell. On a 1999 car.
~$170 ~$242 per month, up from $67.
Gay as shit.
Not only that, but they fuck you any time you put a claim in anyway. Like, I think it'd be better if I just had a fucking assured loan from the bank for however much, and used that for insurance purposes.
Seriously, a few years back, dad fucked up the bottom of the van. Cost like $1600 to fix or something. Put it through insurance, and they raised their premiums by $200 for 8 years, and they still had to pay their regular insurance shit.
