Better day today.

So, things are definitely turning out for the better.

1) Turns out my lenses are covered. The frames are not. So, I don't know if they'll be still scratched and worn in the parts where they were grinded against the concrete/pavement, but I'll be able to see clearly, and that's all that matters.

2) Putterbrook was sent away, all covered by warranty. What's more awesome, is that they might just send me a whole new laptop instead of going through the effort of replacing the parts. If that's the case, I get a brand new screen, so I don't need to worry about how the old one was getting scratched and junk. Awesome. Basically really hope they do that one.

Today was pretty key. Had a chem lab this morning, but it was definitely done in like, a little over an hour. So fast. So, Willem and I went down to the optometrists' to give them my glasses (mom had called ahead and gotten everything straightened out). We were literally there 2 minutes tops. Went in, asked for Julie, she came out, knew my name, asked to see them, and was like, "Ouch. Well, we'll have them sent away and get them all fixed up for you!". Then, we left. Willem didn't even get a chance to read his newspaper.

We walked down to North Street (roughly on the other side of Halifax, the optometrist was by Citadel Hill) to see Willem's friend Alastair (I've met him previously). Anyway, he wasn't home, so we left him a sweet note, done Olde English styles (I HIT THE FUCKIN' DELL KID WITH A BAT). We also left him what was left of Willem's Colt 45 he didn't drink last night. Oh lawd.

Their apartment is definitely pretty ghetto, with black and white metal posters EVERYWHERE, writing on the walls, etc. etc. Kinda awesome, though. I guess there's no sketchy people that live there, and they're all pretty cool. I'd believe it.

(P.S. I'd like to clarify that I actually didn't drink last night. Donno if that was clear or not. I DID however, drink a large diet pepsi with the pizza we got. Soooooooo good.)

Then, we went from there to Sobeys, and got sweet subs, and a 2L of Sparking Lemonade. Awesome.

Bussed it back, was a half hour late for physics. Whatevs.

Went to the Museum for a field trip. Commence the week, last night's concert, and huge walk that morning catching up with me. I could have literally just passed out. SOOOOOOO tired.

So, basically I was even more of a non-contributor than usual. *sigh*

I just put some pizzas in the oven (FINALLY, GET SOME FUCKING PIZZAS ON FRIDAY BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING PIZZA NIGHT), and I'm prolly gonna devour a lot of those. Gonna go with milk though, because there's no pop, and I've had a bunch already today (and it wasn't even diet, LOL!)

Basically, DP is great. Everyone should try it sometime.

I'm subtle.

Mom wants to take me out tonight to get sneakers and a haircut (doesn't necessarily have to be really short I guess, just SOMETHING, as it's gettin' pretty shaggy).

I'm going to sleep for a ridiculous amount of hours tonight.

I also have to make a webpage this weekend for our research project... luckily, I downloaded Dreamweaver 8. Hopefully it'll be intuitive. Or at least, hopefully I'll find it as such.

P.S. Dad told me tonight that the guys at Acer thought that it might be a problem with the adapter, because the light on the adapter wasn't turning on. Hey, funny story. There IS no light on my adapter. NONE EXISTS. How would it light up?

And besides, toal nubs. Chris says it's a short in the motherboard, and that makes a helluva lot more sense to me.

Basically, reincarnating Puterbook would be ridic. awesome.
