ok then
I've been back now since August from iraq. not sure where i am going next or what is on the horizon. i have been dating again, which most of the time i think is going well. i'm back in recruiting command, which has been irritating because of some disagreements with my chain of command. i commonly say 'i am winning on the streets but getting my ass kicked in headquarters' which isnt terribly far from the truth. i love the job, but i cant stand the way it is supervised and the additional 'manure' that comes with the job. all in though, i wouldnt continue to do it if i didnt love the good sides.
got another couple of motorcycles. i've picked up a HD soft tail night train and an old police bike. both of them are fun and sweet.
in my down time (which is very little honestly) i've been doing a lot with the motorcycle club, some things for the game, and have been learning about motorcycle maintenance. i've done the repair work on a few bikes, both mine and others and am seriously considering getting certified as a bike mechanic as another possibility for a retirement job, or some moonlighting cash
i've had some issues resettling my house. i've made a lot of progress but still have a lot to go. my basic problem in working on the house is that if i dont have company i go out. once in a while someone will come over and help or just keep me company knowing i am going to work on the house. CJ, Megan, Meghan and Dave have all come over knowing i was going to be cleaning and organizing and either have helped or kept me company. if that doesnt happen though, i either take off to do things, or i am entertaining guests.
really, that about wraps up life. on the fun side, the trip to the grand canyon rocked, the trip to port st lucie florida was awesome, and i'm looking forward to a long motorcycle vacation next month.
