Her forced statements by her captors on video got more time on the day she was released than her setting the record straight.
I was very happy to see her come off the plane at Ramstain Air Base, escoorted by our soldiers, back to safety, all smiles. Glad she's home.

A large welcome home indeed.
I think perhaps the media is playing both sides, simply trying to get the largest reaction they can out of any situation.
