I had tickets to a special kind of Cirque do Soliell and I was waiting for Bob to come meet me. It was late afternoon. The structure was more built up and solid and less "tentlike". I got in and looked for our seats and found the seats were in little rooms. The tickets I had were supposed to be good, but the door was at the end of a wall of doors and the letter was "J" I remember seat numbers were confusing 0, 3, 13, 10... I opened the door and saw a small room with a bench divided up in to seat spaces. There was a father and child there already laughing and playing. They stopped and looked at me briefly, smiled and went back to their play. The room was set up with a huge glass wall like a peep show. But instead of seeing a full stage, I only saw a little blocked off section - like a peep show. And I felt disappointed and angry at the price I paid for the tickets and what a crappy view the seats had.
I went to find the box office as I wanted to get a refund before the show started. I called Bob on my cell phone and he'd been to one of his care providers and found out that he had a fatty tumor. I felt more upset and angry. I couldn't find the box office. I saw a sign that said TICKETS but it led me to merchandise... The women in the merchandise area reminded me of Dickens Faire folk. They directed me to the right place. Finally, I found a little ticket office and two people in the booth were trying to close up. I told them about feeling claustrophobic and that I wanted a refund because nobody told me about the limitations of the new way of seating... and they processed the refund. I was trying to find my way out of the Cirque complex when I woke up.
Possible interpretation: Navigating a huge complex system alone. Feeling separated from loved ones, others. Disappointment. Unmet expectations. Seeing others be satisfied with what they get. My drive to get what I want, especially when angry. Having tickets to see a show, but I do not get to see the whole thing. Wanting MORE and not being satisfied with what little I have got so far.
