Me. Here?

So, if I hung around here again, would anyone be the least bit interested?

These days my life has only two topics:

- How to create a 'multi social' operating system for the internet. Think Bill Gates met Mark Zuckerberg and they achieved synergy.

- Dismantling the entirely false, but honestly believed, idea that the KJV is exactly the way God intended.

As regards the latter, I spent a year in a church where the idea is proposed with total honesty, and I liked almost everyone there, but as soon as you examine the detail of the theory, it turns out to be 100% untrue. Note, that doesn't mean I am advocating any other bible as being perfect. They all have flaws - and post Tyndale, every one of them has had a DELIBERATE flaw, the biggest and most crippling flaw they could have had without actually defaming God Himself.

But the failures of one bible do not vindicate the others, and one can dismantle the 'KJV only' view faster than it can be preached (I've quite literally done so). The only problem with this is that most of those who hold that view never investigate the facts for themselves and are content to repeat the view they first liked hearing. Just the same as most others do --- but in this case, a total falsification is possible for those who are actually prepared to consider listening to it.

(Falsification: The act of disproving a proposition, hypothesis, or theory.)
