Yay for super busy days! The Wedding Reception shows went fairly well. Not something I would invite people to come see, but it was something paid. Then Sunday after church I drove up to Winston Salem to talk/read for a part in a student film up there. It's called Mutant Screech Owls of Death. I know, fun name! It should be fun though. I did get a part in that. My first film role of something other than 'extra' Well, I did do a film at NCSA called Simon Says that I was given some lines on set, but still wasn't a character more than just a random student.
On Monday when I was on my way to get some headshots printed off, I found out that my car wouldn't start. Basicly the battery was completely dead. And now after buying a new battery, it works fine.
Tuesday I got caught up in a bunch of stuff, picked up my headshots and things from charlotte, dropped a rose and little card thing off for Jessie and spent a little time with her before having to leave for the show I had that night in Greensboro. It was great talking with her for a little, obviously wish I could spend more time, but that's the way things are...
And then today is Wednesday, I'm going to teach for half a day this afternoon then head up to Winston Salem for a rehearsal for that film. Don't know if I'm going to make it to church or not. Still, I'll take a Journal with me just in case I have time to swing by the Winston Salem church.
Tomorrow I'm heading down to meet with a guy who wrote a musical in Charlotte. He's wanting to do a reading of it in about a week, so I'm looking into reading for a part in it.
Then Friday I'm teaching again and Saturday is the Unified Auditions in Asheville. Sunday & Monday are the days of filming for my stuff in Screech Owls.
