I am sure that you have all seen the ridiculous article in Monday's newspaper.
I do not understand why but it seems to be a staple in conversation around me. I have had several old friends telephone me and ask where I found the 'stunning beauty I was photographed with'. Rest assured Pip, I set them straight and gave them what for.
Thankfully Grace knows about newspapers and their articles and so I did not have to tell her what happened.
I was most annoyed when at nine thirty that morning, I received a telephone call from Grace telling me she could not leave the house. They had decided to set up camp outside our abode, as apparently it was important who I dine with. As much as I wanted to leave straight away and go to my wives aid, I knew I also had a job to do. I did the next best thing I called an old friend, who is an ex- black ops soldier, to disperse the crowd as best he could and stay with Grace. I then telephoned the editor of 'The Sun' and kindly asked him to leave my wife and I alone.
When I returned home there were still a few photographers and reporters, to whom I advised them on what to do with their equipment while I drove past. I of course first checked that Grace was quite alright and thanked my friend before telephoning a well known agent about creating another story.
It appears to have worked.
