(no subject)
Maybe because of Christmas, or because of the fact that the fantastic and enormous library in my Grandfather's house is slowly depleting because books are a pain to manage, or because I haven't read for pleasure in like, months, I decided to update my book shelves. From my room, I removed all of the Children's books (other than the classics, like James and the Giant Peach and A Wrinkle in Time) and brought up some super dusty volumes from the basement, including a copy of the Qu'ran published in 1883, and lots of Borges stuff. It's a little bit depressing, but also sort of exciting... books are probably the biggest consistent part of my life, and possibly the last element that was still sort of lingering in childhood. it'scool...y'interested?
