Today went by too fast.
I had lunch with Val around 2:30. I brought her Taco Bell, it was good to get to see her today. Then traffic was terrible on 30, so it took me longer than I had hoped to get to work, Bob didn't seem to mind that I was a few minutes late.
My day at work was pretty uneventful. Nothing really happened, except for a bag of salt busting open on my uniform as I was salting the road south of Carson's. I had an interesting conversation with Kelly about politics and such. I have never really thought about it before but I guess I'm pretty liberal. I guess it's not a dichotomous left or right thing, but more of degrees of each. I seem to pick and choose aspects of each stance that I like. I'm definitely comfortable with my political leanings, whatever they may be. And Kelly is a very firm conservative. :) It made for an interesting conversation on our individual work ethics and personal work related choices; I think I understand her a little better now.
My doors were frozen again, had to use a tire iron to open them...lol. I'm definitely going to have to repaint the car in the spring or it's going to rust.
