I'm baaaaack!

Well we finally got our internet issue resolved and it's been running well all day. YAY! So there hasn't been a whole lot happening.

Carrie was down from last Thursday until Sunday and will be returning next Monday to hang out until she has to get down to Alb. on Weds. for Thanksgiving. We had a GREAT time while she was here; we did a lot of talking and laughing and a small amount of drinking. =) I can't wait for her and the girls to come back next week!

In other news, I FINALLY talked to Debbie last night, (my mother-in-law), and told her, in no uncertain terms, that her dogs are no longer welcome in my home....EVER. Thankfully she took it pretty well, but now I just have to deal with her sad little, "i miss my dogs" comments whenever she does come to visit. Dan said he was concerned that she might decide that if the dogs couldn't come, then she wouldn't either. I honestly don't know where he got that idea because she's really not that kind of person.

Also, I have been doing a fair amount of concertrating on the state of my home. It's become pretty cluttered and I'm seeking anti-clutter solutions. The working out thing still hasn't come along either. ugh.

And lastly, Dan and I had a conversation about my movie elitist attitude. This applies to tele shows as well. I have decided that I will make an attempt to watch something with Adam Sandler in it, although I still maintain that a movie can't be "good" and have Adam Sandler in it at the same time. Honestly. I think I may be the only one on earth who will refuse to watch a movie because there are certain actors or actresses in it. Examples include: Chris O'Donnell, Ben Stiller, the aforementioned Adam Sandler, Kirsten Dunst (although I did like Jumanji!), Toby Maguire (Spiderman is TOTALLY out for me), and Blohan, just to name a few. I feel I am totally justified and I would also like to add that Monty Python and shows like AbFab and
Are You Being Served? are far superior to American sitcoms because they are diffrent from eachother. American Sitcoms are all the same. Big, fat, slobby oaf married to a thin, "attractive" woman who graciously puts up with all his hairbrained antics and endearingly macho ways. Ugh. That plot only works for The Simpsons, if you ask me. (LOVE that show!). Anyhow, that's it for now!
