This week
Sooooo...this weeks been full of little surprises. Myspace update first!
Through the never ceasing wonders of myspace, I've spoken to a couple of old friends from Roosevelt. Bekah and her cousin Tonya. It was really a lot of fun to talk to them again and catch up and not have it be all crazy drma ridden. In other Myspace news, I have discovered that DJ is even more retarded than I had previously suspected. It seems that his "girlfriend" isn's actually his girlfriend. It turns out that when they were talking, before he moved, she metioned that they should, "casually date" if he ever got his shit together and left his wife. Evidently their definitions for,"getting your shit together" do not match up. Not that I am condoning her actions with a married man, I'm not, there's no excuse for it. I just think it's funny that he is all infatuated with her and really he turns out to have just been a piece of ass. To boot, he is so emotionally retarded that he is getting divorced over an infatuation. While she may not be the most virtuous woman, she's really not that stupid I guess. haha....
In other news, someone came to look at the house a few days ago, after having no hits on it for a couple of months. It's actually not even supposed to be on the market anymore but since New Mexico is known as the, "land of manana" and our realtor hasn't come to retrieve the for sale sign, I'm not surprised. It turns out that the house is too much work for the guy so although he loved the view and was interested in the potential of our house, it's just too much work for the guy. THANK GOD! Why you might ask? Because the house next door to my mother in law is for sale and I just don't think living that close to her and her dogs is a good idea. We're statying! YAY!
In kiddo news, we are wating on the school to call us with a time for Adam's IQ test in the next couple of weeks. He is also is going to be "evaluated" by a diagnostician for the school district as well as his doctor and his therapist to make sure we are all on the same page as far as him having "mild ADD" is concerned. I can't help thinking there is something else going on with him. Obviously there are dad issues, and interestingly enough, even though Dale and Adam haven't even seen eachother, let alone lived together for at least 2 years, some of his behaviours can be attributed to his loser biological sperm donor. There are other things going on with him that suggest that 4th grade work is just not challenging enough for him. One of the therapists wondered out loud if Adam may be something refered to as "high spectrum autisitc". I guess we'll see here soon. The most important thing is that if there is something going on with him that we get it diagnosed accurately and start helping him right away. And if he is just a little bit of a weird guy than the rest of us have to start figuring out how to deal with him. lol.
Now over to Alice, SHE STARTED CRAWLING LAST NIGHT! Time to baby proof!
