Totally self-serving too as I'm taking a moment to promote my newly published novelette entitled "Sun and Shadow." It's a Malysta Origins story and intended to complement my WIP novel "Into the Skies."
Synopsis: A tale of inconceivable love has been immortalized as Legend. Allona is a Guardian of the Woods by birth and circumstance. Kemon da Rajatoran is a Firstborn Drak filled with wanderlust. When a hostile village steeped in superstition threatens to destroy Allona's home, Kemon will enlist the legendary Great King's aid in order to save Allona and her forest, but such assistance comes at a hefty price. Will Kemon be able to protect Allona's and his daughter's future when even their own son is pitted against them?
