"Babe-"
My eyelids slowly opened, as i felt Sian rubbing my shoulder.
She smiled at me as i rubbed my face, moving upright on the sofa.
"The nurse said it's time to go, we're just guna wait for Rosie and Jason to come back from seeing your dad, then we have to leave..."
She swept a few stray strands of hair away from my face.
I looked her in the eye.
"I love you"
A smile creeped on her face, even wider than before.
"..I love you too Soph"
She started giggling slightly as i just stared at her.
"Heyy"
Sian looked over, as Rosie came tottering in followed by Jason.
"He look's like he's on the mend already..ay Jason?"
He nodded in agreement as Rosie came over to hug me.
"Im totally exhausted, i just wanna go home and have a nice long bath"
She kissed me on the cheek as she picked up her handbag.
"I wouldn't say no to a bath either, i'm whacked-"
I sighed, as Rosie hugged me once more.
"Oh yeah, i forget you guys were in sheffield last night! Was it any good?"
I glanced at Sian who was now trying to suppress her smile.
Rosie immediately noticed, causing sian to blush.
"My god!!! you guyss, you're ridiculously romantic, you make me wanna vom!"
For the first time all evening, i felt a smile sweep across my face.
"Shutup Rosie will ya!"
We all giggled at each other as the nurse appeared, holding open the door as we left.
"You can come back between 2-5 tomorrow girls, i'll see you then, we'll take care of your dad...don't you worry"
I thanked her as we made our way into the reception and out into the car park of the hospital.
"Jesus!"
I hurriedly pulled up my hood as the rain lashed around us.
"I'll see you tomorrow Soph okay, i love you babe!"
We waved them off as we ran over to my car.
"Fuckkk"
Sian crashed into the passenger seat as the rain thundered onto the windscreen.
We both looked at each other, and burst out laughing.
"Why are we laughing again??"
"I don't know?! maybe because we both look like drowned rats-"
I kissed her lips as i started up the ignition.
"C'mon lets get home, like rosie said, a long hot bath is in order!"

The bathroom door opened slowly as Sian appeared with a cup of hot chocolate.
"Mini Marshmallows on top an all, don't tell me i ain't the best fiance in manchester"
She winked, placing it down on the side of the bath.
I laughed.
"Manchester? you're the best fiance in the world babe"
She scrunched up her nose and leaned over as she kissed me on the lips.
"Charmer aren't ya"
I nodded, blowing some bubbles at her.
"Wanna get in?"
She raised her eyebrows at me.
"Oh aye?? i thought you were whacked!"
She giggled as she saw my impression.
"I am! but i want you with me, so we can be whacked together...pleasssseeeeee"
She looked away.
"Hmmm okaaayyy then Soph, if you say soooo"
She went over to turn the lights off, leaving the bathroom glittering warmly with candle light.
She turned back round to face me as she pulled her top over her head, quickly pulling down her joggers afterwards.
She closed her eyes, shaking her head, a grin sneaking across her face as she saw me watching.
I blew some of the bath bubbles out of my face as she chucked her bra onto the floor along with her knickers.
"So you guna move up or what?!"
She chuckled as i moved my legs to the side, letting her sit with her back to my chest.
"Mmmm it's like the perfect temperature"
She snuggled up to me, letting me wrap my arms around her waist as she leant back.
"Thanks for being there for me today Sian-"
I felt her fingers graze against my fingertips.
"I'm always guna be here for you soph.."
"I know..it's just, i don't know what i'd do without you"
She intertwined her hand in mine as she lifted it out of the water.
"I'm never going anywhere, i love you okay"
She tilted her head up slightly, kissing me on the lips as she squeezed my fingers.
I kissed the side of her neck as she turned back round.
"Rosie's right you know.."
"What ya mean?"
"We are ridiculously romantic, i almost wanted to vom then"
She burst out laughing, splashing water everywhere as i tickled her sides.
"Oh that's it, you're going down Sophie webster!"
She sunk her teeth lightly into my bottom lip.
"You. Are. Going. Down."
