so we're officially into the 3rd quarter here at RIT, and my schedule is just weird. not in times but in makeup:
http://schedule.csh.rit.edu/?s=3n0uiTu as you can see, i'm not taking any design classes, but i am finally taking an advertising class for that concentration, which is actually a lot of fun. this quarter is also different in that i'm taking some classes with friends. literature and technology i'm taking with mr. jeremy spencer (who i'm sure will read this) and hitler, stalin, and mussolini with sir koroleski (alex). additionally i'm taking dodgeball (my fave class for this quarter btw) with cheston! hehe, such the crazy one, as always, tough work keeping his ass alive =p (jk mr. imp). ASL is different, mostly in the grammar, b/c see, my sign is Signed English, which means it has the general makeup and structure of spoken english, whereas ASL has it's own grammar, different from english. this is what makes it so hard, b/c it throws my basis of language off. when i sign right now, it's more of a matter of remembering the different signs, and identifying them when they're used. ASL now takes all of that, and throws in a different sentence structure, which makes me think even more about what i'm saying, slowing down my already slow signing to a near crawl. lastly, this quarter is marked by a ton of reading. almost every class has some form of extensive reading each week, at least it's interesting stuff (especially lit. & tech.).
so my other note is on my love life: talk about a freakin' rollercoaster. i'm not going to go into it in detail, but suffice to say it has reached some highs and lows right now. one man makes me sad, one man i made sad, and one makes me very happy.
more at another point in time.
