and my new obsession: Xiu Xiu
This band is amazing, especially the lead vocalist Jamie Stewart. His voice is just so wonderfully fractured, it sounds like he's in his last breath in every one of them. The music is this (as Ricky put it) "controlled chaos", with many electronic elements swirling, and mashing together. Orchestrated noise. Their new album The Air Force along with their old releases La Foret and A Promise are simply amazing.I just can't get enough.
On the literary side, Confessions of an Economic Hitman is coming along quite well, and picking up steam. After this their are two book out there I want, both super-hard to get. The first, Convivium is just plain expensive to get. I think B&N.com has it for like $25 paperback...wtf?! Then there is the one that really interests me: Lockpick Pornography. This book I can only get off it's website...which sucks, but it's only like $17...so if anyone would like to get me it...

ugh...i'm still waiting...i wish i knew more about this fall. there are so many mysteries surrounding it...I just wish I knew what the hell was going to go on. money, school, love, work...
