Heart breaking

This article is heartbreaking to me because I visited the little town of Grindelwald back in 2000. It was absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain was covered in snow (It was springtime)
I remember, I had just turned 18 a few days before, and I was on a trip with the jazz band.  I was in my hotel room alone, on the patio, smoking a cigar, and looking out on the beautiful view of over 1,000 vertical feet. You could see all the way from the top of the glacier to the bottom of the valley, and it was gorgeous. If you made the trek up the 1,000 stairs there was a big cave in which people had made beautiful ice sculptures. The whole thing was pretty amazing. So, needless to say I am more than a little disturbed to hear the present condition of the environment there. It really makes a strong case for our acceleration of global climate change, though I know some of you still don't believe in it. I mean, the difference 7 years has made is very real to look at these pictures.
Very troublesome indeed.
