::glee:: I love this so much. The way Reed thinks of the lab, of science-stuff, as comforting and safe, and how it disappoints him that Victor doesn't. How Reed's sad and a little bitter and he wants but he won't admit any of that to himself because he's so very very good at ignoring what he doesn't want to acknowledge.

And, of course, the gloves thing, that's just hot. :)

Definitely a build-up of tension here, and then... it just stops. Like getting almost there in sex but not quite. It's frustrating but effective and definitely makes one wonder what'll happen next between these two, because it's clearly not finished. :) Nice job.
