Anyway, here you go:
My name is Helge Ingstad, named for the Norwegian explorer who spent time with the Alaska natives in 1949. I currently live in the shelterof a stand of sparse spruce in the Chugach foothills and spend my days picking spruce needles, for basket weaving, pillows, and my most special spruce juice.
I like spying and sometimes when nobody is looking, I mimic what I spy upon.
I am reclusive, and curious in a hesitant sort of way. I break into hysterical laughter when startled.
When I approach you, I want to know your favorite tree (my reaction will depend on your answer) and I ask you about your saplings (if you have any that I can see with you). My running joke is my bark is worse than my bite! (Sometimes)
(Very corny I know!)
Is this for an act or a play?

I am actually going to be an interactive entertainer at the largest Scandinavian festival in North America (or so they claim! ;-)
My sweetie has been doing it for the last 5 years and got me involved this year.
I've added you as a friend as we seem to be the only active members of jumpstart and we've exchanged a few comments here and there.
