I'm eating almond M&M's right now. There is a slight "wrongness" to this combo... chocolate=yum and almond=yum and chocolate-covered almonds=yum. But somehow the candy-coated chocolate M&M with almond inside is... weird. I'll stick with peanut or plain M&M's thankyouverymuch

I was working at a family restaurant as a hostess my first summer out of college. We were forced to walk through the kitchen to go out "front" on our way into the building. The floor was very tractionless industrial tile, which happened to be wet. I happened to be wearing heels and an above-the-knee length skirt. I fell very ungracefully in front of all of the line cooks, who clapped and laughed, then helped me up as they told me I had very pretty panties. o.O I was mortified.

Second most embarassing moment was my then-ex-boyfriend who had been invited to my college chum's wedding by dint of being my friend. He was moderately fond of them, and even though we had broken up, we decided to attend together. This brain surgeon thought that my best friend's WEDDING RECEPTION would be a lovely and charming moment to PROPOSE MARRIAGE TO ME with a small flower plucked from the tiny cups of delicate little flowers which lined the walkway to the reception hall that my friend had placed there.

I pasted a very fake smile on my face and gave him as much of a non-answer as possible, while muttering under my breath "I'm going to kill you when everyone is not looking". I was more sorry and furious for my friend, because he was stealing her bridal thunder, but I was equally embarassed for myself because he made a spectacle of me when I should've been window dressing for the bride that day. Second most mortifying moment.

Ugh.
