Lol, my trip up to Northern England was somewhat hampered photographically after i left my tripod in London...

These pics of this colossal underground Limestone quarry, marginally lost in the Derbyshire Dales were taken on Yaz's tripod... or Little Mikes maybe...? I dunno. If they seem woefully underlit, its because they are. Without any kind of cable release and a maximum set shutter of 30 seconds... well, this is as bright as i was gunna get them with 200 iso film.

The quarry is quite something, we only scratched the surface, before, admittedly, despite being awestruck, decided we'd seen enough (a common habit of drainers upon visiting mines and caves).

I only managed to illuminate half its full height. The ceiling is high up there in the blackness.
