Kowalski got together with some ex-army types in late 2004 and busted it. He then showed me a photo entitled 'confluence.jpg'.
Much to his, lol, chagrin, i started calling the tunnel system 'Confluence'... and being the pillar of the community that iam, my coinage eventually stuck (just like 'Urbex' back in 1998* :P)
It took me till mid 2006 to attempt it myself, whereby i failed cos well, homemade 15ft wire ladders arent really a wise choice for being the primary way in and out.
Leaving Canada a week later, i had to watch, from Australia as Dsankt, Jon Doe n Stoop renamed it from Confluence to the DIY Supervillian Hideout.
Then finally, with the masterful aid of Snappel, Loops, Little Mike, Shane, Nel58 and Sgt Marshall, in late 2008, i finally did it.
Solitary.
