My 4am starts here remind me of my 4am starts at the airport: Get up early, catch bus, fall asleep on bus, arrive early, sit around, do work, finish early!
I had 402 passengers on a run today, bus was standing room NONE! Was fun. Its amazing how fast you adapt once thrown into the drink. Its almost like ive always been able to pilot a 13 tonne house on wheels through pin hole spaces at 30mph. Im enjoying myself i must admit.
Im working Saturday n Sunday, learning my last two routes, the granddaddies, numbers 13 and N13, the main staples of the company. Im gunna aim to try and get the 13 route once im out on my own (from next Wednesday) as its the central London route, down Baker Street, along Oxford street, thru Piccadilly Circus, down Regent Street, across Trafalgar Sq, terminating at Aldwych.
Most people dont like driving in central London. I prefer it, as its more orderly, like driving in Australia, all set lanes n traffic lights, none of the weaving and amphetamine roundabouts you get in North West London. As it goes ill spend half of the next few days as a passenger, as Ray n Mike have now caught up and will be doing route training with me.
Somalians might be pirates, but i love em anyways :D

And this is what happens if you put a 17mm DX lens on a 35mm Nikon F90X then zoom it in enough to remove the vignetting. Not bad for f22 at 30 seconds (why oh why did Nikon remove the aperture ring from their newer lenses?)
