Note to self...
Don't go standing under a section of unstable sandstone masonry in an abandoned farmhouse... Especially after said masonry has just collapsed onto Blakjak barely 20 minutes earlier.
Went to Balmain Hospital, who once they'd heard that a sandstone building block had collected my skull, treated it as a suspected spinal injury,
Cue an ambo trip to RPA, then 6 hours of fucking about in RPA trauma unit, bailed up on a spinal board in a neckbrace thinking to myself... 'my neck feels fine'.
Now ive got two big but unstitched lacerations on my noggin and sore neck muscles.
Blakjak, poor fella has 8 stitches, a fractured knee and ripped ankle tendons.
Hardhats anyone?
