Went n visited Predators grave tonight with Dirge.
It was kinda apt that we arrived at Woronora cemetary an hour after closing, had to vault the perimeter fence, then use my porta fluro to spend the next half hour searching for the right area and headstone.
Pred was buried with his mum, who died 4 months after him. I was wierd seeing his real name on the headstone. Its good there is a memorial, nice n brassy no less, down the Cathedral. It has his other name on it. Appropriate even more so that one memorial is above ground and one below.
The night before last i went down to Homebush n took a wander into the Olympic Park train tunnel. Couldnt go too far in before i reached the station n found myself staring at a bunch of security cameras. Rather than face charges, i left, then climbed a former landfill mound n wandered around a golf driving range until i realised it was 3am.
Drove to Haberfield and found the access ramp to the Iron Cove Canal still unlocked (5 years later). Drove the Torana down into the canal n headed towards Hatchet's Drain. The tunnel was too narrow and slippery to get the car into so i took some photos outside before driving up the canal towards Croydon, before being stopped by a felled tree. The car's burble rumbled off the canal walls and i saw a few house lights flick on so i left. Had to resist getting intentionally sideways on slippery concrete.
Get paid tonight. Gotta buy a car stereo. Mp3. Ive still got a pair of 6x9's in storage, just need to bolt em into the rear shelf. Its time to throw asunder the earphone bonds my ears have been in suffarage to these last 3 years.
