Darkmoon Faire
Just got back from the Darkmoon Faire. It was so cool. I did get in trouble for bronn as he had made my side board illegal (which is a whole other issue that cuased another issue to come up, mostly because the judges were of different minds on transferring punishment). Playing was fun.
Also got to meet Tycho and Gabriel (these guys), and they signed my Leeroy Jenkins playmat. dawnstorm got a white hoodie and had them sign it as well (need to get some vinegar to help keep that from fading).
It is weird I have met many a famous person; most of the famous people out there, if I met them I would be very 'meh' about it, but meeting Tycho and Gabe, totaly cool, the list of people I squee about meeting is short (I did control it at the faire, but that is mostly because I knew I was going to be meeting them, so I got that out of the way ahead of time) but they are pretty high up that list, maybe one of these days I will actually write up that list and give it to certai people to see what the chances of those meetings actually are . . .
Came home to the boys new D&D books, yays.
Also got to do some interesting soul searching at the Faire . . . came up with some interesting thought, might share those later, but for now what to get on with the geekery.
