Hi guys.
So, hello to anybody new reading this -- I've suddenly aquired new friends through the closure of Notemine. My favourite website is closing down. Poo.
I was about to say I hadn't been up to much, but this week's been quite eventful. I found the perfect house in Lewes to live in! The rent is good, the woman who owns the house is lovely, and there's a view of the South Downs from my bedroom window. And it's in the middle of Lewes town centre, 5 minutes away from Tesco's, the bus stop to the college, and MY NEW PLACE OF WORK.
Yes! I got a job too! Starting next week I will be an employee of Holland & Barretts, selling vitamins and health food and things. The pay is great, I get minimum wage plus commission, and there are lots of cool incentives (£50 for completing product knowlege) and wierd bonuses (free pizza on halloween). I'm really excited!
I have to make an appointment with my doctor soon, as I'll be able to work again after Friday, and he wants me to let him know how I am. So, how am I, a month (it feels like so much longer) after my little hospital visit?
Well, I'm okay. I don't have much energy, but I put that down to having nothing to do. I still have heart palpitations, but mainly when I'm tired, and I'm definitely less stressed out now. If anything my emotions are less stable as before. I was just stressed out, and now I fluctuate between stress, contentness, anger, happiness, belligerence, worry, excitement, animosity, and general ambivalence towards life. But again, that's probably down to me having nothing to occupy me.
I'm looking forward to getting a routine back. I can't wait to start university and get out of this little rut I seem to be in. I wouldn't say life is terrible as it is, it'll just be nice when things change.
