My five-year Plan

Nov 10, 2008 12:02

My mind was wandering during the drive to Orillia this morning and I ended up planning out how I'd like the next few years to work out. Originally I'd planned to do my three year CYWK diploma and then upgrade with Laurentian for my BA, but, after some thought I really don't think I can make it through my entire twenties living in my sad excuse for an apartment with my parents. So, I decided I'm going to tough it out for the next three years and then apply to Ryerson, find a overpriced and undersized place to live in TO (I'm looking at you Asta) and do my 2-year BA there. I swore I'd never borrow any money again, but OSAP will definitely help fund this adventure and I'm totally okay with it. By 25 I will be working in my field, and hopefully by 27 I will be out of school entirely.

I love having a plan, makes me feel so much more focused. Plus, semester one is almost over and time has flown. Now, if the next 2 and a half years could go as quickly.

xoxo
