Potterverse question
i think i have enough HP fans on here to propose this fic help question....
scenario info:
writing a scene about a Quidditch game between Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Crabbe and Goyle (Draco Malfoy's sidekicks for those who might have forgotten their names), who are Beaters, are sort of "guarding" (as in defending/protecting) Draco, while constantly targeting the Huff Seeker by doing their damndest to aim the Bludger in her direction. at one point, Goyle fires the Bludger at the Huff Seeker, but his aim is way off and it instead nails Draco, LOL.
shortly after this hit, Goyle is near the Huff Seeker again and attempts to intimidate her with a sneering look. her response is to flip him off for .2 seconds before she spots the Snitch and takes off after it.
question:
obviously not polite sportsmanship, LOL. but would it be illegal? i'm sure the refs would spot it using whatever magical means they have to monitor the game and prevent outright cheating--but do you think they would call her out/take points away from Hufflepuff for a very brief rude gesture?
asking cuz i have a very specific plan in mind for how this game pans out and if it would be too much of a plot distraction for the Huff Seeker to get penalty points for the middle finger, i can take it out, heh.
